The programmers are battling with hardware issues at the moment, which is delaying our transition to the new datacenter.

And that in turn is proving problematic for the business as a whole; as it's really hard to rebuild momentum, knowing the hosting is going to be the drag on things, and the looming half day downtime will likely interrupt any momentum you build... So it's really tough to know what to do with regards to the ad issues.
As ideally, I want to build up to a huge one that we issue right after the downtime; then use the sharebuyback to hit a second huge result in quick succession -- and that'll likely jump start everything, and rocket our growth to the next level.
So... what to do today?
I'll think about it, and i'll do todays ad issue in about 4-5hours. As I want to wait for peak traffic to pass before I do the issue; so the site doesn't grind to a halt due to the bandwidth limitations we have at this datacenter.

Downtime wise... I don't think anything will happen today; but i'm going to tell the programmers to initiate the changeover as soon as they're ready. As waiting for next weekend is too long. Let's just get it over and done with, absorb the one bad day of revenues -- and then we can get everything moving again without any further interruptions hopefully!

We've installed a new login page for PV using googles NoCaptcha. We'll copy that across to MTV asap.
Lucas should be working on the Liabilities Page for the Shareholder Control Panel & then the Share Buy-Back product for the portfolio.
Paul has the neteller info and he says he'll get to that today. So maybe today/tomorrow Neteller will be an option to buy ads with at PV.
Also I believe Paul is wrapping up his old job, and either this week or next he'll begin working for us full time. So that'll be awesome!
* Plus Alex seems to be helping us at the moment; so that's great also. Let's see if he keeps billing hours after the server stuff is done. As it'd be great if he can help out with Multiplayer Poker, and/or the hundred+ other tasks in our queue!

I've added a task to the programming queue to create an alternative login form for Chinese, or any other user having problems with Google.

And todays ad issue is going to be tiny... I'm just issuing a $10k nominal result. (We have $103k saved up ready to announce a big issue whenever we're ready, and we can add another 100-200k to that via share buy-backs if need be)... So effectively we can clear 10% of our entire debt at will.
This might not be popular (today) ; but we need to play our cards carefully. As there's only so many resources we have to use to get the growth we're looking for; and I don't want to spend them when our business is being held back by other factors (server issues) .
I've asked the programmers to change over to the new datacenter as soon as they're done testing. No idea when that'll be, maybe tonight, tomorrow, next day. But we need to get that sorted. And then we'll fire out the big issues.
* This gives the likes of DigAdz another few days of glory, to outperform our issues... then the PV big guns will come out. And with any luck, we'll dent their growth, along with the normal seasonal strains... and maybe they'll disappear sooner rather than later with any luck cool grin

The programmers are battling with hardware issues at the moment, which is delaying our transition to the new datacenter.

And that in turn is proving problematic for the business as a whole; as it's really hard to rebuild momentum, knowing the hosting is going to be the drag on things, and the looming half day downtime will likely interrupt any momentum you build... So it's really tough to know what to do with regards to the ad issues.
As ideally, I want to build up to a huge one that we issue right after the downtime; then use the sharebuyback to hit a second huge result in quick succession -- and that'll likely jump start everything, and rocket our growth to the next level.
So... what to do today?
I'll think about it, and i'll do todays ad issue in about 4-5hours. As I want to wait for peak traffic to pass before I do the issue; so the site doesn't grind to a halt due to the bandwidth limitations we have at this datacenter.

Downtime wise... I don't think anything will happen today; but i'm going to tell the programmers to initiate the changeover as soon as they're ready. As waiting for next weekend is too long. Let's just get it over and done with, absorb the one bad day of revenues -- and then we can get everything moving again without any further interruptions hopefully!

We've installed a new login page for PV using googles NoCaptcha. We'll copy that across to MTV asap.
Lucas should be working on the Liabilities Page for the Shareholder Control Panel & then the Share Buy-Back product for the portfolio.
Paul has the neteller info and he says he'll get to that today. So maybe today/tomorrow Neteller will be an option to buy ads with at PV.
Also I believe Paul is wrapping up his old job, and either this week or next he'll begin working for us full time. So that'll be awesome!
* Plus Alex seems to be helping us at the moment; so that's great also. Let's see if he keeps billing hours after the server stuff is done. As it'd be great if he can help out with Multiplayer Poker, and/or the hundred+ other tasks in our queue!

And todays ad issue is going to be tiny... I'm just issuing a $10k nominal result. (We have $103k saved up ready to announce a big issue whenever we're ready, and we can add another 100-200k to that via share buy-backs if need be)... So effectively we can clear 10% of our entire debt at will.
This might not be popular (today) ; but we need to play our cards carefully. As there's only so many resources we have to use to get the growth we're looking for; and I don't want to spend them when our business is being held back by other factors (server issues) .
I've asked the programmers to change over to the new datacenter as soon as they're done testing. No idea when that'll be, maybe tonight, tomorrow, next day. But we need to get that sorted. And then we'll fire out the big issues.
* This gives the likes of DigAdz another few days of glory, to outperform our issues... then the PV big guns will come out. And with any luck, we'll dent their growth, along with the normal seasonal strains... and maybe they'll disappear sooner rather than later with any luck cool grin
