3.4. Immobilization of antibody (anti-atrazine) on the SSA-PAni/
carbon SPE electrode
The SSA-PAni modified carbon SPE was incubated with antiatrazine
antibody solution in order to fabricate an immunosensor
for atrazine. FTIR analysis (ATR mode) was used for the
confirmation of the biomolecule grafting. The attachment of
anti-atrazine antibody is characterized with the appearance of a
band at 1620 cm1 depicting the N=C vibrations (Fig. 3, Supporting
Information). A broad and intense band at 3432 cm1 confirms the
N-H stretching mode [22]. The presence of two weak bands at
2853 and 2923 cm1 is also suggesting the successful grafting of
the protein.
