In the present development, the camera had to ‘‘look’’ at one tile at a time. Algorithms that distinguish
between tiles and identify separate tiles will have to be developed. A possible algorithm could be based on counting continuous pixels of the same color. Experiments will have to be carried out to determine the ratio between the number of discontinuous pixels and, say, the tile’s area, or the length of its edge. Such an algorithm will allow the camera to
‘‘look’’ at more than one tile at a time, which will be much less limiting.
