This figure shows the adsorption of lysozyme and BSA to each hydrogel after 24 hours.
In all cases, the amount of BSA adsorbed to the hydrogel was lower than that of lysozyme suggesting that the protein with smaller size like lysozyme are more effectively adsorbed by the hydrogel structure.
In addition, when comparing between hydrogel samples, we can see that the amount of protein adsorbed by hydrogel decreased (ลูกศร)with an increasing PEGDE content which means that the hydrogel with higher degree of crosslinking could adsorb less proteins.
