It has been some time since I last updated you on this subject. Here is the latest status on our annual salary merit review and annual bonus.
• Our salary merit review will take place but has been postponed from the originally planned date of 01 October 2014. The business is performing well but we have had some unexpected challenges recently like faults in our marine network due to natural disasters around Taiwan. These are not permanent problems but they are impacting us negatively this year, so the leadership team and I are being financially more conservative for the rest of 2014. With that in mind, the merit review will now be effective 01 January 2015. Your individual salary increase letters will be shared with you in December.
• We are keeping in touch with our 2014 annual bonus targets for both Revenue and EBITDA. To push the payouts higher, I would encourage each one of us to stay focussed on helping the company sell more and spend less.
