Of Course No way~! No, museums should not be free to enter.
Museums cost money to operate and run just like any other home or business. This is why there must be a charge or fee for visitors to enter and see the museum. The museums cannot rely on public funding to be enough money to pay all of the bills and operating costs.
No, a museum is a business.
No, all museums should not be free to enter, because a museum needs to raise funds to meet its operating costs. A museum is a business, even if it is non-profit. It still must meet its operating expenses and pay its bills. Although it would be nice if all museums could be free, this is simply not feasible for most museums.
• No they should not.
Museums can’t be free because then the people who work there and go through all the trouble of getting the stuff in the museum will end up without a job or will no longer have the resources they need to go about getting the items that they put in there.
Museums should not remain free
I think that's there is a ludicrous situation with the matter if should museums remain free. Last week I went to a chess club and the people there were also talking about if museums should remain free our main fact was that without museums the philosophical artifacts will be removed and will be off
No, there's no need to make museums free.
In the Netherlands, the Dutch Museum union did a research. Young people won't visit museums significantly more often if they don't have to pay fee. So why would you make it free? It only leads to more costs. Museums are afraid they might go bankrupt. Museums are just too expensive to make free.
No, I don't think museums should be free.
It costs a lot to maintain exhibits and buildings, keep up with constant innovations in security, acquire new items, not to mention the countless hours of research happening behind the scenes. All that money has to come from somewhere. It only makes sense to charge those who visit the museums. After all, they aren't really restricting access to information, since the same types of information are already readily available on the internet for free. I do, however, support student discounts or free days. Some of the items in museums are real treasures of our civilization and should be accessible even to those of limited means.
