Fruit browning was determined in 40 fruit with 3 replications.General appearance was estimated by measuring the extent of the browned area on fruit skin. The external browning index (EBI)
was rated as 1 = none 2 = slight 3 = moderate 4 = moderately severe 5 = extreme . The EBI was calculated as {(browning rating) × (number of fruit with the browning rating)}/(total number of fruit in the sample).
