In the Surah of Younis, the Holy Quran states: "But Allah doth call to the home of Peace; He doth guide whom he pleaseth to a way that is straight." (Surah Younis ‘Jonah’, Verse 25)
And in Surah of Ibraham, we read: "But those who believe and work righteousness will be admitted to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to dwell therein for aye with the leave of their Lord. Their greeting therein will be." (Surah Ibrahim ‘Abraham’, Verse 23)
Peace, as the Holy Quran confirms, is the greeting reciprocated on the Day of Judgment between those who are promised to dwell in Paradise. The situation on earth must be similar.
"For them will be a Home of peace in the presence of their Lord: He will be their friend, because they practiced (righteousness)." (Surah Al-An'am, Verse 127)
Islam is an appeal for justice, faith, truthfulness, love and peace, whereas according to the provisions of Islam, war and fighting are no more than a necessity imposed by circumstances that are not under the Muslims' control, mainly when their country is exposed to an assault or when they are stripped of their rights. In this world, there are so many causes that lead to war and even when there is not any, some people, as we see and hear in our age, invent such causes in order to attain political gains or to fulfill the desires of control and power that some rulers and leaders eagerly look forward to attain
