Overview of TCCC Corporate Training Program: Overall employee development is linked to their performance assessment, i.e. their level-based competency assessment and the development needs as noted by their managers. It also aims to partially support a need for 'change' or 'more innovative culture' in the organization.
Current View of Development Needs: The above-mentioned need is evidenced by the comparably lower ratings in 'Learnability, Initiative, & Improvement' Competency. Other lower ratings are in the areas of 'Professionalism' and 'Teamwork'. With these, HR Division is implementing programs to enhance both job-based (functional) and also the professional skills of employees. We are focusing on such weaker behaviours as seen by the managers and observed by HR Division. We also include English language training which is also important in building up employee professionalism and their potential to grow as leaders in the organization.
Moving forward, HR will continuingly monitor the competency-based learning programs by working closely with the managers in performance feedbacks and how to gradually align these to the 'need to change' context. We will also bring in other tools besides training to support TCCC development program.
