In order to illustrate the idea
of fuzzy MACD, we deliberately transform the existing
precise values to five-levels, fuzzy linguistic variables—very
low (VL), low (L), medium (M), high (H) and very high
(VH). The purpose of the transformation process has two
folds as: (i) to illustrate the proposed fuzzy TOPSIS
method and (ii) to benchmark the empirical results with
other precise value methods in the later analysis.
