I processed this series of long exposures specifically for a project that I worked on with Canadian jazz treasures David Braid and Phil Nimmons. The processing was entirely improvised while listening to a live recording of an October concert they performed together in Newfoundland back in 2010. Their music, entirely improvised that evening, inspired me to improvise a series of contrasts and tones, a pattern of mists and rocks and the sea, that I feel perfectly complements their performance. These are the seven images that I contributed to the project.
