In my essay I would like to broach a topic of modern technology in our everyday life.
Technology as we conceive it, is a development of mechanical devices, which facilitate our lifes. It is divided into many subgroups and many products are a result of it, for example mobile phones, computers, speakers, food processors and music players and many many more.
I am interested in new technology. I find fascinating how people are able to create all this things in such a short time, recently new technologies or improvements are beeing put into daily use much faster than they used to be. I think it is good to know about what can I do to make my life easier, in which knowledge of new technology helps.
There is a huge gap between those who have access to new technology and those who don't. It is called the "digital divide". Some sources say that fewer than 17% of the people in the world can actually use the Internet.
To go online, you need a computer, the right software, a phone line, a modem and a subscription to an Internet service provider. These aren't cheap and a lot of people, especially in poor countries, just can't afford them.
Then, there's the language barrier. Four-fifths of all websites are in english and many people around the world cannot even read or write in their own language, let alone a foreign language. If people can't read, it will be hard to teach them how to use computer.
The technology gap also exists simply because many people do not understand how technology can help them. They have an old- fashioned way of thiking and cannot imagine the difference technology will make to their lives.
Education is the key. Governments, IT industries and educational institutions should work together to educate people and train them and at the same time introduce local languages into computer usage. When we bridge the digital divide, then everyone will have equal opportunities and the power that technology brings.

Human life and technology are connected. People use cars, washing machines, computers and many others devices in daily life. Everyone in the world uses technology to travel, communicate and learn. I think technology is very useful and we should use inventions. Advances in technology have more positive than negative impact on humans.
First of all, technology is great thing. Scientists and doctors are making a research as well as are discovering a lot of ways to treat people. For example, heart transplantation or the discovery of penicillin. That examples are milestones in a study of human health. Maybe in the future scientist will discover drugs for AIDS.
Moreover, technology makes life easier. We do not waste time for cooking or ironing because we use microwave oven or iron. All of us use phone. This gadget allows us to call to the person on the other end of the world. Also, you can save life. You must only call for an emergency number.
On the other hand, it has disadvantages. For example, technology is addictive. Many people can not leave home without a cell phone. As a result people have worse contact with family and friends.
