when photographing with lensed camera i can control a variety go imaging parameters, allowing selective focus and emphasis on particular aspects of scene. pinhole photography is quite different. Through the pinhole every element of a scene is equally in focus, and i can choose only camera placement and exposure time to rendering scenes onto film via straight-line projection through a minute circular hole in the front of the camera. there are no glass lens elements, therefore, no refraction of light through optics.
