Guideline for Final Examination of Paragraph Writing
There are two main parts in the exam:
Part 1: Writing a paragraph
Students write the paragraph following writing process: brainstorming, outlining, drafting, revising, and editing. The scores will be given on the writing process, content (ideas), word choice, transitions, and grammar.
Students choose only ONE of the following topics to write a paragraph.
Topic 1: The Inspirational Person in My Life
Topic 2: The Place for My Vacation
Topic 3: The Unforgettable Experience in My Life
Topic 4: Similarities
Part 2 Editing paragraphs
- Checking Sentences
- Editing Subject Verb Agreement
- Editing Unity
- Editing Fragments
- Editing Run on Sentences
Dictionary book only is allowed for this final exam.
Online or dictionary software on SMART PHONE is NOT allowed.
