New reptile material from Phetchaburi Province, western Thailand, is
presented, including eight new provincial records, among which the Thai endemics
Gehyra lacerata and Isopachys gyldenstolpei, and the second Thai record of the rare
Oreophis porphyraceus laticinctus. A total number of 102 reptile species is currently
known from the province, i.e., nearly a third of the total species number recorded so
far from Thailand. Several of the new records were made in Kaeng Krachan National
Park, which is now known to house at least 67 species. An updated provincial reptile list
is provided.
