I was excited about this product. I guess I get excited too easily.
Summary
This program sucks and they try selling it to you for $37. I bought it for #12 with some insider info. This thing is a huge list of survey sites that sends you into a whole world of special offers and junk. Let me tell you more.
My Experience
So, my goal with this was to break even. All I wanted to do was make my money back so I can justify that this program is worth trying.
I bought this program excited that I would spend 15 minutes whenever I wanted earning somewhere between $5 – $10 even though the website leads you to believe you’ll get more.
I ordered the product and turned down all the upsells that were presented right after I bought the product. They try to give you free websites but sell you web hosting in order to get the websites. And they make a commission off of those web hosting sales. It’s a classic scam. By now, I was skeptical and had a bad feeling.
I got in the membership area and it was not easy to find the database. I sifted through all of the sales items and clicked on a link that got me to the database. It was just a huge database listed by country. There are short descriptions next to those.
I wanted to earn money so I just dove in and started visiting the sites and filling things out. Big mistake. I spent 10 minutes filling out 1 site and found out I had to download their software for market research. I spent another 10 minutes on another website and put in all my information. Then they started taking me through 20 websites where I’d evaluate an offer and select yes or no. I realized this was a scam and decided to read the privacy policy. Apparently, they call you with offers if you sign up. I didn’t hit save. But I did get a phone call at 8am the next day from someone. Obviously, I’m frustrated and have been scammed.
I spent more time the first evening trying to figure things out. After being annoyed for an hour, I went to bed.
The second day, I spent about 5 hours trying to make money. I spent so much time filling in forms and completing basic data about myself. My computer was constantly warning me of spyware and adware and then cleaning the issues as they happened.
I had to decline many offers. Too many too count. I did this to make money, not to accept or decline coupons and free roofing estimates and health insurance quotes and any other sales item.
Most of the sites are rewards programs. This means that you earn points and those points can be redeemed for prizes. That was not what I signed up for and so I stopped visiting those sites. Then, other sites claim to pay you cash. But really, they just enter you into a lottery or raffle. I didn’t sign up for those sites either.
Then, I landed a good site. I signed up. I made my way through all of the spam and offers and into the members area. They had a list of all the surveys. I, of course, started with the survey that pays $14 for 15 minutes. I finally had a sense of relief. I spent 5 minutes filling out the prescreening. And, I was not selected. In fact, I sort of suspect that no one can complete that survey. It’s just set up to make it look like they have survey that pays a lot.
So I decided to try a $1 survey for 15 minutes. I spent 10 minutes filling it out. It was a confusing set up and every time I hit submit, I always missed like 3 questions. So after 10 minutes, I hit submit and it said I did not pass the prescreening. I thought I was taking the survey all that time. Nope. Just prescreening. Had I made it through the prescreening, I had another 15 minutes of taking the survey apparently. So if I completed the survey, I would be getting paid about $2/hour. I might as well move to a 3rd world country and help make shoes for one of the big time shoe companies in a sweat shop.
This was so bad. Oh, and the author claims that they do not get paid once you get into the database. That is not true. They use affiliate links. They lied to you.
Oh, and I had one survey that wanted me to sign up for the offer and then complete a survey about the offer. If I stayed a member, then I would get paid for the survey. If I declined, I would not get paid. I was not going to give away $10 in order to make $2.
This was so bad and so irritating. I just reviewed the best survey program out there. Well, at least the one that sells the most. I firmly believe that all “paid for surveys” programs are scams.
Prove me wrong. I’d love to be wrong on this.
I’m deflated. I’ll never get that 7 hours of my life back where I tried to make this work. And some online jerks made a few bucks off me.
They sold my phone number to companies and I did not agree to it. I received phone calls for 3 weeks from unknown numbers wanting me to join their networks for making money.
This program is most certainly busted.
Possibly with spyware now,
John
Update as of December 9th, 2013: I am still getting phone calls but much less often. I’ve tried talking to the companies asking where they received my number and I talked to managers but no one is willing to give out any information. I still get calls from time to time but fortunately it’s about every 2 weeks now. In the beginning, I was getting calls 4 times a day for about 3 weeks from companies wanting me to make money online.
