This course will enable students to learn from the best of both worlds - understanding human behaviour, and understanding how business is managed.On successful completion of this programme of study, they receive two degrees, the Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) and Bachelor of Arts (Psychology). In the Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) programme, they acquire knowledge and skill set for managerial roles in business and public organisations. The curriculum focuses on the role of the business firm in society; the management functions of planning and control; the behaviour of organisations; the tools of modern management, including accounting, economics, and statistics; and the ways in which managers perform functions such as production, marketing, finance, and industrial relations. In the Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) programme, they acquire an understanding of basic processes of sensation, perception, learning, cognition, development, and personality along with principles of social psychology, clinical psychology, and behavioural neuroscience, Knowledge of psychological principles and of scientific methods for evaluating theories and research in the social and behavioural sciences is essential in the rapidly-changing world economy.
