Detailed Description
Originating in South Africa, Sandersonia is new to American gardeners and is like nothing else out there. These blooms are popular with Asian flower arrangers and most of the limited cut stem production is shipped to Japan, making them hard to find at U.S. flower shops. Don't go without - grow your own! Willowy stems, narrow leaves, a semi-vining form and little one-inch orange lanterns add up to an unusual and delicate look. Cut flowers last an amazing 2-3 weeks in water.
