by the time I became CEO,in 2007,I'd grown determined to put the company on a different strategic path.
My ambition was to move it beyond recruiting to help our clients with other aspects of their talent strategy,
and to reduce our dependence on recruiting fees as the sole source of revenue,
Accomplishing that proved quite a challenge,
partly because of the Great Recession.
But six years later we've begun to see the fruits of this work.
