A five‐point Likert‐type scale ranging from “unimportant” (score 1) to “extremely important” (score 5) measured respondents’ answers. The resulting variable, IMA Code of Ethics, represents the sum of the scores on all 15 questions. Accordingly, a high IMA Code of Ethics score indicates that the respondent tends to agree with or consider the IMA Code of Ethics to be important in resolving ethical dilemmas in their work and vice versa.
