only by 36% experts with a lower MRS of 3.5 and 3.1, respectively. Most experts expressed that both these problems were not significant in the present scenario.
Responses from the 147 participants to the ques-tionnaire designed to get a better insight into the four problems already identified by the experts are shown in Table 2. These 147 nurses differed mainly in terms of work experience ranging from 2 years to 17 years, level of nursing education ranging from diploma to masters in nursing and nursing care activities involved as all 19 general wards covering various medical and surgical fraternities were covered in the study. It was also felt that ‘evidence informed practices’ need not be further deliberated in this questionnaire as the lack of these practices during planning and implementa-tion of nursing care quality management did not warrant any further feedback at the level of staff nurses. All participants were asked to give relevant reasons in support of their responses to add a compo-nent of subjectivity.
