Work force participation also plays a vital role in implementing LM in CM units. Most important factor is to develop multifunction workers so that labour requirement would be trimmed and streamlined. However, workforce participation carries least significance in DM. It appears that there has been some cultural change already occurred in DM related to workers involvement. V endor relation comes surprisingly last but one trigger factor in CM. It seems that the CM industry is still to understand the importance of vendor relations for streamlining the total supply chain because old practices of keeping huge stocks is still prevalent in such organisations.
