Results of the above-mentioned studies in the use of organic and
inorganic carriers including peat, rice bran, talc, bentonite, perlite
and talc as carriers for the development of bioformulations indicated
that these compounds preserved antagonistic activities of
bacterial and fungal antagonists. In our study we also showed and
proved that development of bioformulations using talc, peat and
rice bran along with fungal antagonists may be a practical and
effective method for biological control of sugar beet damping-off
disease.
