The RVA method was described by Zhao et al. (2018). Differentcontents of common buckwheat hull and bran were added into wheatflour, respectively. We placed 3.5 g of the mixture in aluminum cans,then poured 25 mL of pure deionized water to prepare suspensions. Aplastic paddle was used to mix the suspensions to get homogenized mixtures; the viscosity of the mixtures was measured with a RapidViscosity Analyzer (RVA, TecMaster, PerkinElmer, Sweden).
