3.1. Validation of chromatographic methods
The aflatoxin detection limits of HPLC, linear ranges, correlation
coefficient and retention times of AFB1, AFB2, AFG1, and AFG2 were
showed in Table 2.
3.2. Differences of the aflatoxin contamination levels of peanuts in
four provinces in four years
The overall results of aflatoxin contamination in peanuts
collected in China in the years 2010e2013 were summarized in
Table 3. In these years, there were 20 samples contaminated with at
least one type of aflatoxin in the 408 samples of Liaoning Province.
Thirteen samples were AFB1-positive with the AFB1 content range
being 0.15e116.64 mg/kg and 2 samples exceeded the maximum
limit of 20 mg/kg(GB 2761-2011, limits of mycotoxins in food by
