in unidirectional FRCs,
tensile strength and modulus, impact strength, the coefficient
of thermal expansion, and thermal conductivity differ
if they are measured in different directions to the fiber
reinforcement. This means that in bi-directional or multidirectional
FRCs, the above mentioned parametric value
differences are smaller. These above mentioned properties
give FRCs almost reinforcement capacity.
FRCs can be classified into two main types
