Academic experts from across the United Kingdom
and Republic of Ireland with different areas of
specialisation were asked to draw upon evidence
and theory in their area in order to explain why
men in their mid-years in disadvantaged socioeconomic
positions, in the UK and ROI, are at
greater risk of ending their lives by suicide; and to
consider the implications for policy and practice
(these five contributions are published in full in this
report).
