Therefore, as another motivating factor, more efforts by
students could guarantee their success in learning English. Another factor which was
reported to be as the main motivating factor for the students involved in the study was the
need or importance of English. Their responses in the questionnaire items reported that
they believed that English is very important and they need to learn it for both
instrumental and integrative reasons. As discussed earlier, the questionnaires showed that
their attitude was highly positive towards English, its culture and people. Generally
speaking, most of the students believed that English is an international and important
language and everyone needs to learn it. They also wished to visit other countries to learn
