The application of factorial design was used to evaluate the effect of a number of factors on the effectiveness of the UA-IL- DLLME method in order to improve the % recovery of Cu, Ni and Pb. The main advantages of the proposed method are that it is rapid, inexpensive and environmental friendly, and that it can be successfully applied to real food samples without interfering effects. The method has good repeatability and reproducibility with low LODs and EF and could be applied for routine analysis for the determination of metals in different food samples.
