2. Materials and methods
2.1. Microorganism
Lyophilized culture of A. candidus CCRC 31543
was obtained from the Culture Collection and
Research Center (CCRC, Food Industry Research
and Development Institute, Hsinchu, Taiwan, ROC).
The stock culture was grown on potato dextrose agar
(PDA) and maintained at 25 C. Spore suspension of
A. candidus was prepared in sterile water and used for
inoculation.
