All above tested pomegranates cultivars are graded as sweet. However, there is limited information regarding the effect of MAP on the phenolic compounds and antioxidant activity of sour-sweet pomegranates during long term storage. The aim of the current research was to investigate the effect of two MAP on the quality parameters physico-chemical composition, phenolic compounds, antioxidant activity and organic acid contents of sour-sweet pomegranate cv Hicaznar during 210 days of storage and shelf life conditions.
