(1) Whether the procedure entities that cause the degrading performance common
to all industries or specific to the industry under investigation is subject to further
investigation;
(2) The construction of a decision supporting system based on past experiences or
expert knowledge within the corporation is another subject worthy of further
investigation. Since this paper only proposed a systemic procedure for evaluating
and improving NPD procedure performance, it is worth while for corporations
to establish cause-solution correspondence to speed-up the acquisition of
improvement strategies or suggestions.
