establish sales relationships with key clients through telephone and face-to-face contact where necessary
• learn to sell the benefits of exhibiting at an event as opposed to other forms of marketing activity
• source new sales leads
• achieve monthly individual KPI targets and team targets
• manage existing client base
• understand the Show’s market-place, why it’s exhibitors support it and why it’s visitors attend
• take responsibility for own areas and sectors of the Show
• take responsibility for specific tasks as requested by Show Sales Manager
• provide an estimate of client’s revenue for monthly sales forecast
• maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records
• provide regular and relevant feedback to Show Sales Manager
• help on other shows as and when required
• provide admin support to the Sales Team
• develop understanding of the exhibition industry
• maintain a professional attitude with regard to all company matters at all times
• efficiently answer or redirect all incoming enquiries relating to the show or company
• Whilst on-site to ensure a professional attitude is maintained during problem solving and re-selling into the event
• To ensure internal sales system is kept up-to date and all calls/conversations are logged correctly
