The meetings held with the members of the committee group allowed us to develop an initial analysis of the organizational situation and to bring into focus the decidedly problematic nature of the relations among practitioners, patients and informal caregivers, indicated as the cause of the organizational malaise by the committee group. Moreover, infrequent and difficult communication between management and practitioners emerged. However, clear and sharable hypotheses relative to reasons for this conflict and for the distance between organizational levels did not emerge.
