Anheuser-Busch InBev (A-B InBev) is the largest US beer manufacturer, accounting for a 45% share of total volume sales in 2014. Two of the company’s brands – Bud Light and Budweiser – are still amongst the top five beer brands in the US, whilst Natural Light slipped to the sixth position in terms of volume sales in 2013. Although A-B InBev is very strong in the US market, its sales declined by 11% over the review period, falling to 11.0 billion litres. The company has been affected by the overall decline of the beer category and the popularity of craft beers. Real growth for the company is coming from other categories such as cider/perry and malt-based RTDs, with its continued diversification strategy paying off. Anheuser-Busch showed volume growth in cider/perry, whilst its malt-based RTD brand Bud Light Lime-a-Rita was a star performer in RTDs/high-strength premixes
