is Associate Dean in the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was previously at Victoria University, Australia including as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Industry & Community) and Head of the School of Hospitality, Tourism & Marketing. He specializes in tourism marketing with an emphasis on cultural dimensions and emerging Asia-Pacific markets. He has published books and journal articles on tourism marketing, resorts and tourism in the Asia-Pacific Region. He is Co-editor-in-chief of Tourism, Culture and Communication.
