psychometric properties of the ADHD-Q, no study can be found that examined
the treatment sensitivity of this rating scale. With this issue in mind, the current
study was undertaken. ADHD-Q data were obtained for 17 clinically referred
children with ADHD on the three occasions: (1) during the regular intake assessment,
(2) just before the start of the stimulant medication (i.e., methylphenidate)
intervention, and (3) four weeks after the start of the medication intervention.
Not only parents and teachers completed the ADHD-Q, but older children also
rated the frequency of their symptoms using a self-report version of the scale
