If personnel are found to have hearing loss1, this should be investigated to determine if it is work-related, ie to establish whether work at Nestlé has caused - or contributed to - the hearing loss2. If the case is found to be work-related, it should be reported in SHE-PM as a recordable illness, and a further investigation carried out to understand what can be done to minimise the risk of recurrence. Where appropriate, corrective and preventive actions should be implemented to minimize the risk of further cases
