Here, the Fluent V6.1.22 CFD package based on the
finite volume method is used to transform and solve these
equations. The discretization scheme used is hybrid for
the convective terms in the momentum and energy equations,
and the Simple algorithm for pressure–velocity coupling.
The mesh is generated in the Gambit 2.1.6
preprocessor to produce a grid-independent solution. The
boundary conditions assume no-slip conditions for velocity,
constant temperature on the surface of the material
being dried.
