Independent reviews by the Florida Center for Reading
Research (2012) and the US Department of Education’s
review agency (What Works Clearinghouse, 2012) provide
evidence of the position that Lexia holds in the domain of
technology-based education programs for reading. The
developers report that the data captured by the program
correlates statistically with outside reading measures
(DIBELS: Dynamic Measurement Group, 2008; MAPS:
Northwest Evaluation Association, 2009; and GRADE:
Williams, 2001).
