After 2.6 ± 2.5 years of follow-up, three patients presented an ischemic stroke or TIA. The incidence was approximately one case per 1,000person-years.Therewerenorecurrentstroke in patients with history of stroke treated only by aspirin and the three ischemic stroke or TIA occurredinpatientswithouthistoryofstroke.One patient, 36 years old, had increased vulnerability at the initial study. Another patient 72 years old had history of atrial flutter and the remaining patient aged 74 years had no other arrhythmias
