Bandung is the capital of West Java province in Indonesia. The city lies on a river basin surrounded by volcanic mountains. The rapid growth of population and motor vehicle usage has strongly affected the city’s environmental quality. The unbalance in number of motor vehicles and available road has created a traffic jam problem, and has caused the air quality deterioration. Airborne particulate matter such as PM2.5 can have worse health effects. Therefore this study was study concentration and elemental composition of airborne particulate matter namely PM2.5, PM2.5-10, PM10 and Black Carbon; BC in Bandung Indonesia. Samples was collected by GENT Stack Filter and determined by X-Ray Fluorescence. Finally study conducted to identify the major constituent of air pollution in Bandung Indonesia.
