The effects of bran addition and particle size on the Mixograph parameters of the blends are summarized in Fig. 1. The increasing addition levels from 0% to 15% significantly reduced the midline peak width with the particle size of 0.21mm and 0.53 mm, but there was little increase when the addition level was 20%. No significant different effects of particle size of 1.72 mm on the midline peak width were observed at different addition levels.
