The isolator elements resting under the inertial mass were placed on a hollow slab placed on piles in order to obtain a rigid base. Consequently, reinforced concrete inertial mass was placed on the isolators by a crane and leveled in order to provide a balanced load distributions on the springs. Detections of the isolators were observed to be similar after the placement of the inertial mass. A set of seismic snubbers in order to limit possible sway type deformations of the inertial mass during a seismic excitation. Consequently, the building structure that will protect the sensitive equipment was constructed on a separate shallow foundation.
