In all the assignments for the MEd112 course, we have integrated criteria drawn from the affective domain to
account for the relation and sharing components of the connectivist course design. Students’ abilities to work
productively as part of a pair/team and to demonstrate values such as a strong work ethic, cooperation and
initiative are assessed. The students are asked to reflect on their development as responsible learners and to
discuss a wide variety of useful personal initiatives indicative of a growing commitment to life-long learning.
Effective communicative skills for presentations and peer critique are also part of the intended learning
outcomes.
