The breakdown value is the difference between the peak viscosity and trough and shows the degree of starch disintegration. Setback is considered as the difference between FV and trough and indicates retrogradation tendency of the amylose. The
results clearly showed that fine grinding of millfeeds did not cause any change in starch breakdown and setback values of WWF, considering that there was no significant trend found among the WWFs with increasing fine grinding treatment of millfeeds.
