Interestingly,
we observed a significant inverse correlation between the
concentration of vitamin C and concentrations of 8-epi-PGF2 at
baseline. Furthermore, after subjects drank the orange juice daily
for 14 d, concentrations of 8-epi-PGF2 were reduced by 27%,
and the correlation remained the same, even though concentrations
of 8-epi-PGF2 and vitamin C changed significantly.
