Walking to Work
View passage image
My name is Anton. I walked to work today.
Some people take the train to work. Some people take the bus. I usually drive to work. But today, I walked. It felt good to walk to work. I think that I will walk to work every day from now on.
There are many good reasons to walk to work. First, it is a great way to get some fresh air. I spend all day in my office sitting at a desk and looking at a computer. My office does not even have a window. It was nice to go for a walk outside. Because I walked to work this morning, I will also need to walk home tonight. This means that I will get even more fresh air tonight. I will walk to and from work every day!
Walking to work also helps you get exercise. When I get home from work, I am too tired to exercise. Walking is a good way to get exercise. Because I walked to work this morning, I will also need to walk home tonight. This means that I will not need to exercise when I get home tonight. I will walk to and from work every day!
Another good reason to walk to work is that it saves money. I will not need to pay for gas for my car. I will not need to pay for a bus or train ticket. Walking to work is free. Because I walked to work this morning, I will also need to walk home tonight. This means that I will also save money when I leave work. I will walk to and from work every day!
I walked home from work tonight. It was good to get more fresh air, but it was much colder and darker outside than it was this morning. It was also good to get more exercise, but I was much more tired tonight than I was this morning. Walking home after a long day at work was hard.
It is morning again. It is time to go to work.
It is cold outside today. I bet that it will be even colder when I walk home tonight. I am tired this morning. I bet that I will be even more exhausted when I walk home tonight. I also bet that it does not really cost that much money to drive to work.
I think that I will drive to work today.
