The purpose of this study was to determine the factors influencing
customer satisfaction with the HST services provided by the
TCDD; in addition, dependent on these factors, the study also
aimed to create a mathematical model to determine the customer
satisfaction index of HST services.
First, the appropriateness of the data set for factor analysis was
examined. The result of the Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity was found
to be statistically significant (Bartlett’s Test of Sphericity¼7107.09,
significance¼0.001). In addition, the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin measure
of sampling adequacy was larger than 0.70 (KMO¼0.942); thus,
the use of factor analysis was appropriate. The results of factor
analysis revealed that 4 factors explained 73.427% of the variance.
Table 2 shows the service quality attributes included in these
4 factors.
