Thus to realize the Dharma requires no special activities. According to a Zen master, we can realize enlightenment while on the toilet, eating a meal, getting dressed, etc.
According to this teaching, foolish people will search for enlightenment, thinking that it is somewhere outside of us, but the wise know that it is already here in us, in every moment.
This idea of attaining enlightenment in ordinary activities is similar to the philosophy of the Zhuangzi, in which it is said that we can even find the Dao in ordinary things, like excrement and urine.
